What is Common Transit Procedure?
Common Transit Procedure is a procedure applied on the commodity transport which is within the context of Common Transit Agreement between the EFTA countries and European Economic Community and between EFTA countries as well.
This agreement is applied on the commodity transport between regardless of the type and origin of the commodity, including transferred, retranferred or stored commodity, between EFTA countries and in EFTA countries within themselves.
The commodities are carried between the community and EFTA countries and EFTA countries within the scope of guarantee, according to this agreement.
Common Transit Procedure is identified as T1 and T2 procedures.

Turkey has been a party of this mentioned agreement by means of making statement with 22.06.2012 dated and 6333 numbered law since 1st December 2012.
